I had in mind to go to a peaceful quiet beach where I could lay a towel and let my kids play through a short trail but still beautiful. I thought I was asking for too much. And that's exactly what I found! What a pleasant surprise was to go to Evergreen Beach!! Perfect 1.6 miles beautiful forest ending at this calm and pretty piece of land right by the water. Totally recommend!

I love visiting my school's beach trail for birding and hiking. unfortunately, people don't respect the rules. if you have trash, pack it out. this includes dog poop bags. don't leave it off to the side claiming you were going to pick up later only to forget where you put it. just keep it with you until your done. you are the one who decided to own a dog. with that, keep your dog on a leash, not just for its protection but for other people. some of us students need to conduct surveys and have other equipement out there that could get damaged by your pet. just keep that in mind. this is a community effort.

this trail was gorgeous and a perfect little hike for someone 6.5 months pregnant with a toddler. lots of good trees and root wads to climb, the beach is gravelly and sandy, and we were there during high tide so it was really nice, but it might get a little mucky and slippery during low tide, not sure though. it's a great place to walk the dogs or kids or just have a moment to yourself.

Beautiful scenery. Love the big ferns. Cool tree on path. Perfect timing with the tide being out for the beach. No parking to pay for on the weekends. Saw many people, but everyone kept distance to pass on trail.

LOVE this trail! Very muddy when I went but there’s so many different trails around here, you can definitely make it as long or as far as you’d like.

Trail was open and a good evening hike with the payoff of the water and beach half way. You can snake all around and increase or decrease your walk. We explored around. Fun day.

Great tail. Not handicap friendly, lots of tree falls in tail as well as a few steep inclines. for me it was fantastic.

Great hike - a bit muddy but the trees are fabulous to look at with all the ferns and overgrowth. Very nice hike.

This was a pretty well traveled but secluded hike. I did the whole thing with a 3 (almost 4) year old and she did great! We took a break at the water and then a few stops along the way. Keep your eyes peeled for Fairy Houses! We found one that was so sweet. My little one loves that the most!
