Im not sure why there aren’t any reviews for this trail yet, but this is a great hike. We did the loop counterclockwise on 9/21. It is very easy to miss the first trail split, but you can identity it by noticing the switchbacks leading down into the valley. The switchbacks are very rocky and steep, so be careful. After getting down into the valley you hike across small creeks for a bit before climbing up a very steep section. I believe the trail climbs over 1100 feet in less than a mile. Once you are near the top you intersect another trail (there is a sign post). Here you will have a great view of the valley and surrounding mountains. Turn left on the trail that leads on a rocky path all the way back to the parking lot. I highly recommend this trail.
