Great trail. Did this on a sunny weekday and it was gorgeous! Great stops along the beaches and some meadows for a great picnic and kid playtime.

muddy but gorgeous views... will definitely be back

Outstanding urban hike! Close enough to the ocean that you can start to feel like you really are outside of the city. We hit the lighthouse and north beach for a while, very peaceful and not crowded at all. Very muddy, but as long as you go prepared to get dirty it won't slow you down!

Great trail that gives you lots of diversity between the shade of the woods and the sun on the beach. The views of the sound and the mountains are breathtaking. Clear and well taken care of paths.

A lovely hike through the trees and along the beach. Almost all of the trail was paved, but the part that wasn't was a little wet. The sunset was beautiful over the water.

Pretty Good urban park for hiking and trail running. Likely among the best urban parks as such in the country and certainly one of the most scenic. The South Beach and North Beach sections are great trails with views across Elliott Bay and the Puget Sound with the Olympics in the background. North Beach itself is good for hiking/running in the sand. I went around once in each direction to take it all in.

Good hike today with my lab. A little muddy but that’s not surprising. You have stay alert to walk the route as designed.

We ended up doing the whole loop but my phone died! :( Lol oh well. Kinda muddy & pretty slippery on the way down toward shilshole bay & lighthouse. Much drier the rest of the loop.
