Sooo many bugs. They were worst at the beginning of the trail and near the top. This trail is definitely a work out and gets lots of sun. Sunscreen and bug spray are a must. WTA must have come recently because most of the down trees were cleared. A few more had recently blown down but they were easy to step over. This trail does go through a recent burn area, hiking through this area would be dangerous on a windy day. This hike would only be better if it weren’t for the incessant bugs.
