Took 112 through Joyce and made it to the trailhead fine. But the ranger station at Port Angeles said this trail was closed due to the construction. Maybe it's just mid-week, but didn't see anything on the weekend, and others were hiking the trail too

This is such a rewarding easy trail. The road to the trailhead says it’s closed but we had no problems getting to the trailhead

Fun little flat trail. Getting there we detoured north through Disque due to previous reports of the road directly to the trailhead being closed (it still is). Road is well plowed and any vehicle can make it to the trailhead. Arrived at noon and parking lot was 3/4 full. Trail itself is paved and very flat. We visited on a cloudy day so the views weren’t quite as breathtaking, but still beautiful to see snow capped peaks. There is a significant landslide about 2 miles in but it was easy to crawl over the logs. Overall a very family friendly low key hike.

Really enjoyable, a small mud land slide blocking the road about .3 a mile after the tunnel in but easy to get over when hiking. Hike is “closed” but still very accessible.

Despite the sign at the trailhead saying it was closed, it was indeed open. The trail was well paved all the way to Devil’s Punchbowl. My husband and I walked on the road to the tunnel then took the dirt path to the Punchbowl. Today was sunny, therefore the path was not particularly muddy.

I will say this: it is not marked at all. If you want to check this out, when you approach the first tunnel, instead of going through, go left onto the trail that skirts the water. On the return, check out the tunnel. I went yesterday and it was gorgeous. Can't wait to come back in the summer time for a well deserved dunk in the bowl!
