Great trails! well marked. A bit muddy but that was expected with all the snow melting. We parked in lower lot and did Outbound to Heart Attack Hill to Double Dip to Ridge Trail to IMBA to Log Jam to Boundary to East Trim back to Outbound. Our recorded mileage was just under 4 miles.
Nothing was closed, great 10k, watch your map if you are unfamiliar with the trail.
Walked it September 10th, Looks like a majority of the trail is closed after the wind storm.
Good beginner trail. I have a bad knee and was able to walk part of the loop with a hiking stick.
We went on a few of the trails today, and will be back to try others. The trails are pretty narrow and not very stroller friendly. About 1/2 the people we saw wore masks. Dogs were on leashes, and most owners tightened up on their leashes when people passed. We were there around noon today (Friday) and it wasn’t busy.
It was well kept and pretty, a lot of decisions on which way to turn which left us confused.
Since it's only 5 minuets from my house, it's my go to for a fast walking workout. I see a lot of locals who use the trails often. It's predominantly shady with lots of birds to listen to on numerous trails that are easy to navigate. Fast or slow, it's a pleasant experience.
not too crazy on a Saturday for crowds. somewhat able to social distance. about 50/50 on people wearing masks but the ones that weren't would get out of the way. pretty hike! not many bugs and well kept.
we took a bit if a different route then what this gave us. It was pretty busy and once you got deeper into the park it got pretty humid. We went more out to the left side of the park - the map shows a single trail out there that connects back up. The bridge on that trail is closed but you can climb - carefully - down a pretty steep hill next to it and back up. Overall a pretty fun trail. Our gps took us to the parking lot above the beach which was fine but the walk back up the hill after the hike was pretty steep.
It was a great trail but not what I was expecting. It is a loop but requires quite a bit of referring to the maps throughout the trail to get to 3 miles. Fairly heavily trafficked today but folks were pretty good about moving out of the way or waiting when there were narrow parts of the trail. Only muddy in a few spots.
Right on the beach which is nice for a picnic before or after your hike. Hiking trails are very confusing and narrow, making it hard to pass people. Slightly buggy and overgrown in places. Relatively flat with some cute bridges. Bathrooms are open. Parking got pretty full on a Friday around noon.
