I remember hiking this trail as a child! It is in my old neighborhood. I really enjoyed it then and will go back eventually. I remember the trail head access was through someone’s yard but still awesome!

Previous recordings are of the old (extremely steep) trail and total miss the view of Grand Coulee. Alternate route: drive down Crown Point Rd, park and find follow portion of marked route to hill you can see opposite from the parking area. Fairly well marked...better view of Coulee!!

Grew up in this area and trailhead was behind our home. Trail is behind last house on the left, so you do have to walk onto private property to get to it and because of that not a lot of traffic, but residents have always been nice. You do have to walk a short distance thru sage brush to the vista, but great view of the town, dam and Columbia River. See at least 2 deer every time I've done it and one occasion a brown bear came down into the yard. During summer pay attention for rattlesnakes.. Had quite a few in the yard of the house, but never saw one on the trail.
