Very sketchy walk. Homeless people sleeping on old mattresses and people acting suspicious. I will never again walk this alone.

That aside, I would walk this with a group of people. Beautiful river views and cool things to look at.

FYI: The Clover Lane entrance is off North Pacific Ave. Entrances are also located off South Pacific Ave at Mill Street and River Road.

I walked this trail on a beautiful early May day with the temperature in the low 70s. I started from the Clover Lane entrance. The first part of the trail was gravel but soon became a real nice paved trail. I walked to the first Kelso bridge and back and encountered 6 cyclist and 1 rabbit. Other than an occasional train it was very peaceful.

Great for kids on bikes. Nothing super exciting but a nice way to get exercise in town.

Good for a run or quick bike ride. Paved the entire way.
