Took some grocery bags and spray paint remover. We need to all help care for our local trails

If you’re gonna do this I would go early morning when it’s fresh. There’s no shade. Bring some shades, water and some good hiking boots

First time here (6mar20) I jogged the loop with frequent stops for pictures and scenery. Great for beginner trail seekers on foot or bike. Trails are very easy to follow. Will return when it’s greener.

Light snow on trail but the trail is easy to follow. I would take a trail map next time though! Good walk on a day with freezing fog and no visibility - we warmed up quickly.

Beautiful trail. Quite easy and lovely vistas. The fall colors were gorgeous. The only icky thing was the massive amount of dog poop at both sides of the trail as you begin. Seriously—pick up the poop, people. It’s not that hard. From the size of the poo it’s obvious these are large dogs and they come there quite often.

Great easy trail near Yakima, some uphill walking with loose rocks. Be on the lookout for rattlesnakes

Easy walking; bring a hat and water bc there is no shade. Surprisingly not too busy for a Saturday. Not much to look at as far as pretty plants, but thats a matter of opinion and I probably went during a less than prime time.

Easy trail, views aren't bad, but the BUGS are biting and way too distracting to enjoy the trail at all. Whole swarms of them turned our hike into a little mini horror movie.

A very solid nearby hike. Cool views of the canyon to the north and west valley of Yakima to the South. Really easy walking. I wasn't ready for how easy it was. I was surprised to not see any snakes.

Ran/walked the full loop from the main ridge line to the canyon center. Shirt section along the main road was a little nerve racking, but totally worth it. Canyon section was the best part!!

Good trail for families and dogs. you can use a pack for little ones but I would not suggest a stroller. Lots of up and down. No snow and limited mud!

This was a great hike with some nice views. The weather was amazing for late November, clear skies and sunny. I can’t wait to hike this trail early spring and fall. I would suggest taking a picture of the map at the trailhead if you don’t know the trail, there are a lot of forks so it can be confusing.

Nice local trail. Trail was rocky but in good condition. We had three small dogs and they enjoyed the hike. The parking lot was full but we only saw a couple of people while out on the trail. There are lots of different trails but it would be hard to get lost because you can see the city. It was a very enjoyable short hike.

This was my first time hiking this upper trail. There are loose rocks and the trail itself was narrow but the views are great! The trail itself was a little confusing due to forks on the trail. I was glad I took a picture of the map before I started. I hiked down to the Canyon Trail, the foliage by the creek was vividly showing of all the colors of fall which was absolutely beautiful this time of year!

I took my wife and dogs with me on these trails. Definitely bring lots of water on hot days, there is no shade at all. Was easy walking, except for the few places where there are rocks on the trail. Think im going to take my mtn bike there and use these trails as a workout on the days i dont want to go to the gym.

Overall a great morning hike... definitely easy & we took a 6 year old who did fine! The trail was well maintained but a little confusing because there are so many points within the trail where there is a fork in the road... glad we had the App to keep us on track. Not crowded with some awesome views of the valley.
