Gorgeous busy city trail. Go expecting quiet and you'll be disappointed, bit if you want great views of Mt Rainier and Tacoma's residents, enjoy. Good running path because you can keep it flat or add hills to suit. I like grabbing my kids and our rollerblades. (And a beer on a deck...)

Easy walk. Crowded at that time making it a little difficult for running. Nice view of the bay. Would go again but maybe at earlier time to avoid crowds if want to bank miles of running.

Great walk along the water. Traffic is high. Beautiful sunsets and sunrises.

Such a pretty area at sunset. Always a pleasure to walk down here. A lot of people usually walking and cycling and strollers and dogs, etc. fun though and relaxing.

Wouldn't call this a trail as much as the waterfront boardwalk. This is more like a 3 mile long stretch of good walking, jogging, or biking path. There are lots of little parks, docks, and restaurants. Its a really pretty place to exercise or take your kids. But not a hike.
