There's no parking at the trail head so you have to park in the Blowout Mt. lot area. From there you're following the road uphill for about 30 minutes to the trail head. Another 30 minutes and you'll get to where the road trail levels off. A great, easy, straight walk through the woods for an hour will take you to a path that leaves the road behind. From there you're strolling through meadows, along a cliff edge, over a couple of small creeks.

This is a logging road. It is a constant incline. Not for beginners. Not a site seeing trail. It is a good workout.
