Great hike but the waterfall was dried up. We'll come back in the fall and hope to see it then. Lots of bugs, so bring insect repellant!

Hiked this on Mother's Day. It was a great hike. The waterfall was so pretty. Not as many people as more popular hiking spots. Definately a steady uphill for a good portion of the way. I'm a beginner with Asthma and made it. Although I did need to stop a few times for a breather. I'd hike this again. We tracked it at about 4.4 miles starting at the trailhead.

Loved the this park! Beautiful day and the most gorgeous waterfall over mossy green boulders. We went specifically on the Red Town Trail. Good incline on a gravel road for the first 1/2 mile or so and the fairly easy after that! Loved how this was close to home and didn’t have to travel to the mountains. Will definitely be going back!

Good hike. Not too many people this morning. However, I passed 7 dogs and only one had a leash. With all the animals on Cougar Mountain, some scared the daylights out of me if they came behind. Please leash your dogs!!

Easy to access with plenty of trail space and the terrain is not rocky. A good mix of hills and straights for a beginner like myself. If you go counter-clockwise you will have an easier time at the beginning, clockwise you’ll end with more elevation gain. The waterfall was full and is a nice stopping point. Most of the terrain is standard foliage, but there were some areas with silent, moss-covered trees that carpeted the forest in a vivid green and made it more enchanting.

Easy hike, would be good for young families. Moderate to heavy traffic. With all the recent rain the waterfall was very full and beautiful, but the trail was pretty muddy in spots.

Went with two kids 3&8 and a dog. Had to carry the 3 year old after half way. No snow, a bit muddy in places. Moderate traffic, some runners.

Beautiful, easy/moderate hike. Gorgeous, mossy trees, and a beautiful bridge with a dry creek bed :(
Totally dry this time of year. So close to Seattle, it's a nice little day hike.
