Loved it! Hiked this one with my dog on a rainy day after several rainy days. There were a number of mud puddles I had to hop over and my dog needed a thorough wipe down at the end, but these small inconveniences were totally worth it for the experience. The forest is gorgeous shrouded in fog, especially with the sprinkling of yellow leaves on the trees and trail. The trail is narrow but well maintained. The length and climb made for a nice, but not overly challenging hike. I’ll definitely be coming back to check out the other trails in this area.

Great trail with views if you take the Debbie’s View offshoot. I love the steady elevation gains, and it is a good conditioning route- it will get your heart pumping. You can loop many different routes so the scenery never gets old. The gorge trail is quite challenging. I like making my route a loop using one of the many options on Squak Mountain. I usually begin my hikes up there off Mountainside Drive on Squak Mountain, but there are trailheads off SR 900, Issaquah Hobart Road, and May Valley Roads.

via Bullit Fire Place Trail pass West Peak to Debbie VP and Chybinski. A big tree fall midway between Bullit Gorge and Debbie VP challenging to pass through. Recording stopped, battery ran out.

Decently challenging, but not much in the way of sights. Good to get out and stretch the legs.

Snow starts about half way up, boots recommended but I made it in old running shoes. The fireplace is easy to miss if you’re not looking around you. I was focused on the trail and missed it by about 20 ft until I heard someone who was on the bench in front of it. Dog friendly trail.

8/13/2018 (Monday) - It's so quiet on this cool weekday morning. No car at the trailhead at 9:15. Temperature is 10 degrees lower than outside the woods. A pleasant hike in this environment. It's 3 miles to the Central Peak via Eastside Trail.

Steady climb the whole way up. Nicely shaded. Fireplace is interesting. No views but the trees are the view. Slow steady hike up and a fast trail run down.

This hike was ok. The incline was great and gave a great work out, but the scenery remains the same and there isn't really a 'view' anywhere, unless you count the radio tower at the top of the central peak trail (which is a deceptive name because its not really much of a peak).

Did this on April 2nd 2017 Trail was very smooth over all. Recommended for beginners or runners. Not sure why they say there is a view point here. There isn't.. If you check out the pics I posted the very top had a big building with radio towers. Unless I went the wrong way.. Someone let me know if I missed something.. The signs are pretty clear untill you reach the third set of signs.. Just stay to the left and you'll reach the fireplace ( see pics). Great hike for newbies... Overall I'd do this again but onky if I wanted to practice running up a mountain. Decent trail.

Super fun moderate hike when you're looking for some peace and quiet in the woods.

Enjoyed this hike, the incline makes for a good workout, several hiking trails to choose from throughout this area. The higher the elevation the more snow was on the ground (around 6-7 inches) Yak Trax are suggested. Looking forward to coming back and hiking another trail.

Relaxing back and out trail. Good for runners, dogs, and kids. bit of an incline but worth it to see the fireplace. would have been nice to see a sign with the history behind the house built in the 50s and burnt down by vandals.
