The falls at the end of the trail are unbelievable! This is the closest I’ve stood to a waterfall and it makes the trail well worth it! There are quite a few large rocks at the end of the trail, so you have to watch your footing. And the bathrooms are closed right now, so make sure you make a pit stop before getting here. Also, we got there around 9 am today and it wasn’t too crowded. I saw larger crowds forming towards the end of my hike.

Nice easy trail but and at times puts you to close to other people and a majority of them aren’t wearing masks. Other than that there are some steps towards the end that will get you hot enough to enjoy the overspray of the falls when you make it there. Parking could be tight if you don’t get there early.

Restrooms are closed so go before hand! Pretty easy til the 1/2 mile mark near the falls, it’s rocky and muddy so be careful. I went on a Monday afternoon so of course it wasn’t busy but everyone had a mask when passing each other :)

Great, easy hike! It’s very flat for most of the hike except the last 0.5 mile. The last 0.5 miles has loose rocks and a narrow path. With it being busy, there’s no way social distancing can really be maintained, so wear a mask!

This is a great trail for the whole family!! A little muddy when we were there on the 3rd of July and lots of people with about 80% of people wearing masks. Please be safe up by the falls with your kids!! Our 8 year old daughter slipped and needed to staples due to hitting her head on a rock. Thank you to everyone that helped us out. She is doing great!!

I haven’t hiked for almost a year and I’m moderately out of shape With that being said, I took my time and let people pass me when needed. I made it all the way up to the top of the falls. Mostly everyone was friendly and nice. I’d say about half were wearing masks. I passed small dogs, kids so I kept telling myself that I could do it, too. I got there at 6:20a on 7/4/20 and there were around 15 cars in the upper lot. I’ll definitely be back as this was absolutely beautiful

Pretty busy hike, majority of people aren’t wearing masks. Starts to get a bit rocky towards the end. Recommend going early, arrived at 9am and the parking lot was already crazy full!

It's was a great little hike. The last half mile will make you earn the prize of a very cool waterfall and a view of the valley below. The misting of the falls feels great by this point. We had gone up the Friday before the 4th of July weekend, so there was no shortage of people along the way.

This trail was over crowded to the point of detracting from the experience, there were so many people on the trail that it was constant passing/being passed on a narrow, muddy, rocky trail. I did this hike with my parents (50-60s) and my dog on Friday of 4th of July weekend. Perhaps would be a MUCH more enjoyable hike on a day with a lot fewer people on the trail. It was not difficult with the exception of the last 0.5 mile incline before the falls which was wet, rocky, with many tree roots so the footing was difficult and 2 falls were witnessed coming down. The water fall is large and impressive, although you get wet/misted standing at the overlook, so you won’t want to stay there for long.

Beautiful trail and even better falls at the end. You will definitely get wet if you get near the falls but it’s worth it

This is a fantastic hike if your up for stairs and walking on big rocks and some steep incline here and there.. the last 1/2 mile or so.. Then this is for you.. We didn't make it to the lake..just the falls. I am really disappoint in the forest service. Due to the bathrooms closed.. people are crapping in the woods all over the trails around the parking lot..it's gross..smells horrible..

Great!RockyScramble

most definitely a bucket list hike that i can say i completed. and will do again.. waterproof shoes are a must..with great tread and poles recommended. so many rocks.alot of the trail is rocky and and it gets tricky with how narrow some parts of the trail are. i would rate it moderate hard in some spots.. but worth every step. lots of photo opportunities down at the base of the fall.may have to wait your turn on busy days. loved it.
