Bresemann Forest Trail is a 1.7 mile moderately trafficked loop trail located near Tacoma, Washington that features a river and is good for all skill levels. The trail offers a number of activity options and is best used from March until October. Dogs are also able to use this trail but must be kept on leash.
First time being on the trail and I’ve read some reviews. Taking that into consideration I did the hike with my dog and well yes it’s a nice trail but there is quite a bit of trash I tried to do my part but felt overwhelmed with what I saw on top of the trash there was sketchy people and people camping out in the park
Great paths. This navigator helped a ton. Otherwise could easily get lost as the trails seem to branch off in different directions and no signs.
Decent park, near my home so I walk here nearly every day. Sadly there is often a lot of litter/trash, and occasionally you will come across nefarious individuals hiding out in the forest, and it seems most people do not keep their dogs on leashes and many people smoke in the park. The park staff is unwilling to enforce these laws either. It is a wonderful forest though, and if you go at the less desirable times of the year it is a nice oasis where you can find rabbits eagles, osprey, coyote, owls, and even bobcat!
Nice easy trail Well maintain in the final part there’s a gate blocking your way so you had to cut around the recreation center.
One of my favorites. Trail is easy to walk and allows for me and the pups to escape the busy day. Well maintained, wide pathways that are never very populated. Nice little waterfall and stream. There is also a trail over to Lake Spanaway park or over to the ball fields at Sprinker. I have always found that sketchy things happen in the parking lot but have never had an issue, just be aware of your surroundings.
My wife and I love this trail. Pretty mild loop trail with different shortcuts throughout. However the parking lot seems to always be full of drug addicts and people smoking pot.
Good in town ride. very little incline or decline, but good beginners trail. ride faster if more difficulty is desired. on nice days there can be traffic, but the earlier you go the better. theres turtles sunbathing in the pond also! Jump across the street to spanaway park and there are some more trails, same level of difficulty.
Easy trail - not too exciting. You’ll hear traffic on the south and see houses on the north.
