I used the tracking function in AllTrails to follow my route. From trailhead to the top and back was 13.7 miles. The first mile is flat, then it is a steady incline of long switchbacks up the mountain. I only passed a few people coming back down. All had just been to Teneriffe and nobody had heard of Blowdown Mountain. After visiting, I can see why. It's a long way to go without much to show for it. I meandered awhile at the top looking for evidence that I had indeed arrived. There were a few old camp sites, but no great view to indicate I'd made it. Near the top you'll get some unique perspectives on Teneriffe and Si, but only peek-a-boo views through the thick trees to the north. The connection to the final leg of the trail from the Mt Si intersection is sketchy at best. It's very overgrown and only navigable with GPS and by following the occasional cairn. I got pretty scratched up trailblazing through the undergrowth searching for the trail at times.
