Bird Meadow Trail to Bird Lake Trail is a 5.6 mile out and back trail located near Toppenish, Washington that features a lake and is good for all skill levels. The trail is primarily used for hiking, nature trips, and birding and is best used from July until September.
This trail is a loop if you start at bird lake to bluff lake then from the meadows take trail of the flowers back down to bird lake. About 5 miles: moderate terrain with some steep climbs.
This is my favorite hike. I try to go every August. The road in is bad for the last 5 miles, but worth the trouble. Wildflowers are best in mid to late August.
