This was the most boring and wasted hike I ever did. Not a trail, it’s a dirt/gravel road that cars obviously drive in as one suv passed us on the way back. Wish I had a bag for all the empty beer cans and food trash, and there’s random car parts like someone’s entire back seat. No real views aside from the occasional mountain but it sucked. I love hiking and do 8-10 miles every Saturday and I would not recommend this boring monotonous trail.

What a boring and uneventful hike. No views, the road is clearly for cars ( when of rich went by while we were hiking) and I fail to see why this was rated a 4. E did 4 and 1/2 miles before we decided to throw in the towel. No with the trip

Dirt road, not trail. Gradual climb, not difficult. Nice view at the end.

Started at the sno-Park parking area at the Cabin Creek exit. Snowshoed up the groomed trail until we hit the ungroomed trail and took that route. Though the trail was not groomed it was well worn with previous tracks that went most of the way to the top. Views are more frequent after you get onto the ungroomed trail. Steady grade too the top. Not to hard just takes some physical endurance. Didn’t stop too much on the way to the summit. Had to cut our own path to the top but we were the only ones there until right before we headed down (two backcountry skiers came up). Snow pack was good and low avalanche danger. Saw a few others at the top but no one going up or coming down. Cloudy to the south/east but mostly sunny north/west. No views of Rainier but overall not disappointed with the view we had.
