A portion of Alki Trail between Riverside and the Port of Seattle Jack Block Park This trail rides along the northern and eastern shore of West Seattle along Alki Avenue. Largely riding on a widened sidewalk, separated from traffic by a parking lane and curb, traffic on the trail is separated for bikes and walkers, providing a less stressful experience for walkers and bikers alik

Good run this morning around West Seattle. The cold temps are coming.

Stays lit & is completely empty at night. Great for an easy night run.

Nice easy walk, jog, run, bike, stroller, etc. The path is well paved and bikes are around to rent. Sometimes it gets a little congested so be careful with little ones on their bikes. The views are great of the city or the sound when the ferries go by. It’s also nice around sunset for that view.

Good trail if you’re looking for a flat run or an easy bike ride. A little busy for fast bikes.

Crowded on the sunny day but great view of Space Needle, Downtown high-rises, CenturyLink Field, the Sound, etc. Part of the beach is sand while part is stones, so not very good but definitely not bad.

Nice area. Gets pretty crowded when sunny though.

Great for running. If it’s busy walk out and extra 2-3 miles then you can run back without many people on the trail in front of you.

Great city hike with sweeping views of downtown and the surrounding Puget Sound.

We didn’t hike the entire trail. We started South of Alki Beach and walked a ways to the beach. It was a clear beautiful day. Just south down the road has a beautiful view of Seattle as well.

This trail offers a picturesque view of the bay and downtown Seattle. But the constant traffic noise is somewhat irritating.

Nice easy stroll in the afternoon. Great views of the city, cascades, olympics and my rainier. Very crowded on a nice day however with bikes skateboards and joggers.

I've never walked the whole trail through, I just walked a little section of it. This is a nice break from the typical urban Seattle, however it is still quite busy and slightly over-rated. This trail is nice for a stroll or for a run.

This is a great walk on flat and paved sidewalk the whole way. We went 6 miles from starting point out and back. Lots of people today, 5/25/2015, but I can see this would be very crowded during the summer months.

I live in Burien and this is my favorite stroller friendly walk around the area. You can start off in the large parking lot directly across the water from Seattle and end up at Alki Beach. Altogether it is a 3.4 mile walk or run with a 0% incline. The view is gorgeous on a sunny day.
