Alaska Mountain and Central Alpine Lakes Trail is a 23.6 mile moderately trafficked out and back trail located near Roslyn, Washington that features a lake and is rated as difficult. The trail offers a number of activity options and is best used from April until October.
We did about a 3 mile hike in and 3 mile hike out. This brought us to Olallie Lake after passing Talapus Lake. It was early in the season, so snow was still covering a large portion of the trail. There were Camprobber Jays at Olallie Lake and pretty mountain & lake views throughout. I wouldn't mind doing another hike in this area of a different portion of the trail.
