I always do 30 acre lake when I visit...if I don't do stubblefield lake I will make this longer by walking the auto tour road to Kepple Lake and around back to the car. I've seen moose twice in the 30 acre lake area so have your camera ready but also be careful/respectful of the wildlife!
gravel trail overgrown with grass in areas. level and easy. in Turnbull. most trails have at least a small parking area.
This is a lovely hike, with a well-maintained trail that winds through marsh land, woods, and grass. It runs along the edge of a long, marshy lake. You choose one end of the trail, walk to one end and then double back. Be advised that the road that goes from one end of the trail to the other is a one-way loop. The drive around the area is more than enough to justify making a visit to this lovely spot.
