Map , markings and the app could be better especially at times it gets confusing with trail path. But that being said we loved the trail and we hiked with our dog. Trail features includes lot of Creek / water spots , good for dog or kids , dog friendly & family friendly trail. It has lot of natural shadow / trees and less stressful that way on a hot summer day.

Beautiful walk along the river, and many spots for the dogs to take a dip. Caution around the horses at the start of the trail; one park police officer was incredibly rude and threatened us if our dogs spooked her horse. The trail itself is beautiful, very little rough terrain (only tripped once). Will definitely go back!

Really nice, shady trail with a long stretch along the creek, including lots of spots to go right down to it. Some elevation changes. Watch out for the horse poo though! It is well traveled by the horses. Great with kids.
