a lovely walk, enjoy lotuses but come early if during the summer: you need a morning sun to light up those flowers!

This is my favorite place in the world! Of course lotus season is stunning, but the vast differences in the park each season are truly spectacular. The fall leaves across the boardwalk, the spring greenery, the late summer blossoms and the snowy paths are all worth a visit. This is definitely more of a walk than a hike, so don’t be fooled by that. Bring the whole family, take a stroll and bring a picnic! If you’re quiet, you can spot deer, frogs, fish, turtles, and heron!

I love going here when the lotus are blooming or even after with the seed pods. I cool!

Very easy and peaceful walking paths. The lilies and lotuses in the summer are worth the trip and there are some nice bird watching spots along the water.

Summer time visit:
My family loved the beautiful plant life. The lilies are gorgeous and it smells like heaven. We plan to visit again.

A very walk.

A pretty fall walk. Still some lily flowers and giant pads in early November, but no mosquitos or humidity. Certainly not a hike, but a pleasant walk.

Very flat. An easy walk, wouldn't even call it a hike. I went in November and despite there being no summer flowers in bloom it was a fun time and neat to see in the fall. I enjoyed it!
