The Tour of Duty Barracks Row Heritage Trail is composed of 16 illustrated historically markers. The entire walk should take about 60 mins. Sign 1 is found at seventh street and Pennsylvania Avenue SE by the Eastern Market metro station on blue, orange and silver line. Nice neighborhood walk with historic signposts. Nice area, safe, and surrounded by restaurants and bars. The last stop is by the Eastern Market, which is an open air Market with crafts, fruit and vegetables, and food trucks on weekends, and has a permanent indoor market all week long.
