Woods, lake, swamp and the sand hill makes this a very diverse trail. Good for most ability levels.

First Landing Park trails, in their entirety, are great way to spend your entire day. For the most part, they're all flat trails, with the only challenge coming in their length depending on how much you prefer to walk. Be sure to pick up a park map from the trail Center. It's worth noting that there's also a parking pass fee ranging from $5 to $10 depending on the time of year.

Had to walk a little bit to find the decent part of the trail. Multiple trails to explore. Today we hiked 2 miles of Cape Henry. It is the longest ( I believe) at 6.1 miles. We saw many bikes on the trail, if you're interested in biking.

There is a $5 entrance fee for VA residents with cars.

Overall a decent hike. We will definitely be back.

I absolutely LOVED this trail. It literally takes you right along the lake shore. The forest were beautiful as well.
