Whispering Pines Trail is a 0.6 mile lightly trafficked out and back trail located near Hampton, Virginia that features beautiful wild flowers and is good for all skill levels. The trail is primarily used for hiking, walking, nature trips, and birding and is accessible year-round. Dogs are also able to use this trail but must be kept on leash.

This is a wonderful trail. I did not mind the muddy spots because you could always get around them without too much mud on your shoes.

The actual trail is only about a quarter mile but to loop it from park headquarters ot the nearest parking lot is about two and a half miles. This is a nice walk in the pines on a beautiful day, but we have had a lot of rain and the trail had plenty of muddy spots.
