Very nice trail, but not heavily used or well maintained. Wear plenty of bug spray and bring something to clear the foliage and spider webs if you plan to hike beyond the first lookout.

Moderate set of trails that takes you along beautiful hardwood forests and wetlands. The bridge has been reopened that takes you to the trails (a hurricane in the past has prevented hiking in to the preserve). Great for birding, especially if you want to see bald eagles and osprey along the river.
