Great Starter hike to get used to the change in elevation. I suggest brining a back pack as this trail is close to the visitor center and cabins it gets a lot of use and if you hate litter you'll be cursing people as you pick it up the whole way down and back up. Pets aren't allowed since it is heavily used. It is fun to watch some women trying to look sexy walking down the dirt trail in high heels. Lots of rocks to climb up or down and if you hit it right fish in the stream going down to the Falls
