A nice short loop off Dam #1 Newport News Park. This is a short and easy trail with a lot to see. A nice short nature walk or combine it with other trails to get some milage.

Nice little 2 mile trail. It initially goes over a bridge with a pretty lake and the rest is wooded. Plenty of deer and there’s some civil war history to be seen.

Nice hike through civil war history. The earthworks are amazing to see and learning about the history is awe inspiring. Great views of the reservoir.

Nice little trail right off the bridge, so it was a bit crowded. Still, it lead to some nice woodlands!
