This section of the Tuscarora Trail starts at Rt. 50 right next to the bridge over Back Creek, on the south side. There is a small parking area that will only fit a couple of cars. The trail starts by following Back Creek for a little while and then crosses Back Creek. The ford here was removed, and crossing can be tricky. The trail then parallels Back Creek on the east side for while before turning east and up a small ridge. After joining an ATV trail, the trail turns left and passes near the Barclays Run Shelter. After a short climb, it turns south and runs parallel to an old logging road. After crossing under the power lines, it runs southwest criss-crossing the logging road/ATV trail several times. At the intersection with the ATV trail near a cabin, you can return on the Tuscarora, or take a easier route back along the road bed. After crossing under the power lines again, re-join the Tuscarora back to the start.

Impossible to find where to start and park, trail poorly marked, completely flooded about 0.3 miles in, had to walk across a field to get out of there, not fun.
