This is a picturesque little fishing hole and picnic area with wonderful views of the rolling hillside surrounding Paris (probably my favorite small northern Virginia town when we lived in the D.C. area years ago). I had a very sentimental feeling being back and walking in this spot before heading over to hike the park's main trails for the first time.

VERY Easy. I'm sure it's better summer to grill out, but it is right off rt 17 so you see the road the whole time.

Lovely pond for hiking, fishing or just relaxing and of course spending time with Family.

This is a very pleasant area near one of the three park entrances. If you don't feel like walking, there are picnic tables and a portable john.
