Let start by saying this COULD be a really good hike, but the trails are non-existent once you get off the roads. We started by heading west along the road from the parking area and attempted to find the trail using the GPS track from 2008. We ended up bushwhacking for a couple of hours trying to find a trail but with no luck Just ticks and thorns. We head back to the parking area and walked south along the other road which follows a nice stream for quite a while. We ended stopping at the intersection near the bridge where the trail starts to follow the power line cut to the southwest. We might come back, but will be more prepared. This would be a great project for PATC or other group. It has the potential to be as good as Old Rag Mt.
