Trail is in rough shape. Lots of downed trees and rough terrain.

Great afternoon hike, perfect for kids and dogs. Creek runs alongside the trail (which is a washed out road really). Very rocky, and full of thorny bushes so dress appropriately.

A lot of fallen trees to climb over. Very rocky, trail was not very well defined.

A very nice, easy trail. I hoped that the entrance to the trail would have been marked better, however, if you follow the handy coordinates on "All Trails" you will find it quite easily. The trail seems to be an old creek bed which makes for a gradual incline through the mountains. When traveling from the east, the drive across the mountain will provide several photo worthy views of the valley.

A quiet 3.3mi. connector trail from FR-92 to Mill Mtn / Big Schloss or a 6.6 out and back. It's all uphill from the fire road but it's a nice walk out being as the elevation gain is pretty evenly distributed throughout the trail. This trail is far enough off the beaten path to be fairly quiet yet close enough for a day hike.
