It was difficult to find the trail heads. Once on the trail, it’s a very basic trail and barely visible in some places due to fallen leaves. With better trail maintenance in and maps, this could be a better place to trail walk. The setting on the river is very nice.

Not really much of a trail but nice park with picnic shelters and a kayak launch. Lots of open spaces to let the dogs run too.

Trails are a little hard to find. There’s quite a bit of litter in the woods...maybe even a meth shack down on the golf course side. If you stick on the roads or just want to hang out at the pier, it’s pretty nice. But the trails are a different story.

Great sunset run, would have given it 5 stars but the bugs can be a bother. Awesome sunset pics.

As advertised . . . easy and short. It's worth walking if you're looking for a nice stroll and light exercise.

We strolled along with a baby and had a toddler on a bike and stayed on the roads so can't honestly rate the trails well. Great picnic and playground area!

Terrible trails, not groomed at all we had to turn around because they were so bad. They were also hard to find. It looked like a nice place for fishing and having a picnic though.

I really couldn't find any real trails. I found some small 1/4 - 1/2 mil trails that went from one parking picnic area to the next. It is beautiful. But the trails are definitely not well defined.

Nice little park to take the family to or go for a walk. The trails are too small for biking but can be used to train the kids on, plenty of challenge for that. The trails need to be cleaned up and some work done on access to the river but other than that I would go again, but leave the bike at home.

I concur with Alan's review. Nice Park and the trails are nice, but really do need some work with proper markings and in one section there is a large tree across the trail that needs to be cut through so you don't have to climb over it. The trail has potential. I would do it again.

A nice park. A lot of the trails follow the water. There is plenty of open space too if you are into that kind of hiking. Suffolk Parks and Recreation told me that they are getting ready to do decent trail maps for their parks. At the moment Lake Meade, Lone Star Lakes and Sleepy Hole have no trail markings and no trail maps, but they are pretty easy to figure out.
