This loop trail rambles through forested woodland and near a scenic rock outcrop until winding its way back to the lakeshore trail and back to the trail head kiosk. Watch for pink Lady-slipper wildflowers in the late spring along with a other wildflowers. Fall around the lake is outstanding with the hardwood forest surrounding the shoreline.

I your looking for a challenge this is the trail for you lol. the trail head is hard to find...and there are allot of fallen trees that block the trail. Causing you to have to do some serious climbing to get by them. the trail is not clear causing you to lose your way and search for those blue trail makers and hope your still on the right track. beautiful views of the lake in certain areas made it worth it for me though.
