This trail is blazed in red. Probably from the blood the mosquitoes took. I have not seen mosquitoes that thick since hiking in norther Minnesota. Other than that it is a beautiful wooded trail. There was a lot of blow-down but none on the trail.

Hope you like mosquitoes. It is a beautiful woodland trail so maybe we should come back in cold weather and enjoy it more. The trail is only about a half mile long but to go out and back from park headquarters or from the nearest parking lot will be over 1.5 miles.
