This is a great trail run/walk course. Very tough course!

Great exercise trail for walking, biking, or running. Would be five stars but there are no great views, just streams and woods. There are steep hills for a strenuous run, but with a good plan you can walk for a couple of miles without overworking it.

Apparantly you can only walk this trail if you are military, so i wasnt allowed to pass through the gate!!

Not sure why it is in this app

I used to run this system of trails often. Very buggy and not very challenging (unless you run off trail up and over the powerlines--then it's a serious butt kicker). Overall, a well maintained and great trail to run mid-day if you work on MCBQ.

This was not a very challenging trail at all. It's more a nature walk, easily marked with placards explaining the trees, gentle rolling hills, boring scenery, etc.

If you like more challenging trails with rock scrambles, etc, then avoid this trail. It's more suitable for mountain biking.

Love these trails for mountain biking, trail running and hiking! I have been mountain biking here for years. Just got myself into trail running as well. Definitely not for beginners. Lots of steep inclines and declines- stream crossings- etc. if you go in a bike you gotta ride Biker Bumps trail! A blast!
There is a trail head marker with maps and info. If you park in The Child Day Care center parking.
Going through the security gate you just need to provide ID and say you are riding the Mainside Trails at The CDC Center! Have fun:)
