Park was beautiful and well maintained. Had access to sandy beach area. We saw lots of wild life- clams, crabs, fishing cranes, etc. Trail was perfect for our senior dog.
Leesylvania State Park is a great place to spend a day. Several hiking trails along the Potomac. Pretty easy as well, not much elevation. Beach fronts are nice and the pier is awesome. Great place!
Beautiful!
Easy and beautiful hike on the water
Nice park with nice staff. I enjoyed the time here.
I loved the water views. All Virginia State Parks are nice and this one is no exception.

Very pretty to walk along the shoreline, the docks, foot bridges to watch the boats and those picnicking. Love anyplace that welcomes our walking our dogs. Interesting historic markers. Navy band and fireworks were a lovely surprise for our family entertainment. Sadly a bit of trash, but mostly clean.
Good easy hike with my 4 year old grandson. Had a chance to stop and use my Jetboil minimo. Grandson loves eating mountain house Spaghetti and meatballs.
Great for a day hike with the dog or family.
Nice hike with views and history all in one.
