trail running

So this is a paved walking/running trail that was lengthened and upgraded as part of recent (Jun 2018) park upgrades. As measured on my Runkeeper app, the whole loop is 3.4 miles. There’s a new piece added closest to I-95 by the river that lengthens it from 2.7 to 3.4. Nice loop 3-person wide. Good for walking, running biking. Families ambling along on weekend afternoon. Skirts picnic areas, playing fields and through woods and along the river. A half mile steady uphill climb to the park entrance and then same back down. You can take uphill steps at top or bottom of that segment and there is a nice trail that parallels the entry road, so you could have a shaded trail run for that segment if you like. You could also cut that uphill/ downhill off and turn just before it starts going uphill, then you have a nice 1.8 mi fairly flat loop with a few short climbs thrown in according to trail map.
