Beautiful gardens! There are miles of trails, but a five mile zig-zag loop should take in most everything. Most of the park is ADA accessable. There are boat tours and golf cart train tours for thos who need to see it sitting down. Depending on the season, azaleas, roses, flowering trees, there is a lot of ever changing beauty to see.

Little bit of everything here. Beautiful landscapes throughout. Some water. Many interesting places to stop and take pictures or rest. Not a typical trail by no means. Really a big tour of a huge park. Remember you have to pay to get in each time or buy an annual membership, which is worth it if you are a frequent visitor.

My favorite place in Norfolk. We are local and go several times a year, the kids enjoy the children's garden. Great for walking, running, seeing beautiful flowers.

One of my absolute favorite spots to run in Norfolk. Mostly flat but safe and you can’t beat the views.

We really enjoyed the Norfolk Botanical Gardens and all it had to offer. There were so many different things to see: the rose garden, the enchanted forrest, the butterflies, etc. The enchanted forrest ended up being our favorite because it was a pretty hot day and that area was a bit more shaded. You really could spend the entire day here - there is so much to see and do. I would recommend this area to others. Just note, there is a $12 per person entrance fee. The only caution I would give is that is it not well notated along the trail, so be ware of your surroundings!

Beautiful place year around. Be sure to use the paths around the perimeter along the lakes.

Excellent place for a walk or run.

I love this place. There are many, many secluded little seating areas you can hide out in and read a book or sit in peace where no one will ever find you. The gardens are beautifully manicured and colorful all year long. Great place to go for a run or a really, really long walk.

Pretty flowers. Mostly paved trails. Nothing challenging, but definitely fun and scenic. Bring a camera!

Definitely a pretty walk, definitely an easy walk, but I wouldn't say it's worth it for $20, AT ALL.

OMG!!!!!!! Can a place actually be this beautiful? I gave it five stars because you don't have more. I have been there many times over the years, but never tire of it. Although there are miles of trails, I would not call it a hiking trail. Walking trail or nature trail, yes.
