nice well maintained trail. A little crowded, but a beautiful urban trail! We saw lots of turtles, squirrels and even some deer!

WalkingGreat!

Definitely a nice little trek with some nice lake views. Spotted a ton of turtles off of one of the bridges and saw quite a few deer throughout the trail. Dog friendly (leashed, of course). We went on a Monday afternoon and it was not too populated.

HikingBlowdownGreat!

This is the east side of the Noland loop trail. Not sure why it's rated Moderate when the full loop is Easy. Certainly the west side of the loop has more hills than doing the east side again. But it's fun. Did have one tree blocking the trail on August 8, but there was evidence of a bunch of tree clearing work so I doubt it'll be there for more than a few more days.

Love this one! Fun and easy for the whole family. I wouldn't take a stroller out there, unless it was an all terrain stroller and you have 2 people who can lift it up and down, because there are a lot of step ups and step downs. Beautiful views with nice spots to stop and eat some lunch if you bring it. Dogs are welcome on leash, and ours loves it. Close to CNU, but on the trail it is a mix of every type of person. Trail is marked with distances, so if you don't want to do the entire trail you can choose to turn back at any time. Fun, moderate in difficulty (mostly easy imo), and family friendly! Recommend this trail. Also at the entrance of the museum you can park at (mariners museum) there is a statue of Leif Errikson! Fun fact, that is the replica of the one the US gave to Iceland that is located in Reykjavík!

Beautiful trail to jog with your dog or just go for a hike. It has plenty of place to sit over the water and sight see. I jogged the whole thing with my pug

Very nice trail. great for hiking, running, or just going for a walk. my only complaint is that they advertise this trail as a five mile loop. My GPS tracker says 4.7 miles
