This trail was one of the most mundane trails I've ever done. You will start and end the trail by corn fields. Besides these fields the trail offers very little scenery. There is a small dock at the very end where the kayaks are launched with a small water view. Also, there is very little shade on the trail. May want to avoid in extreme heat.

No shade on a sunny day, but beautiful short hike through cornfields.

Easy trek out and back that ends at canoe launch. You can make the hike longer by veering off on one of the equestrian trails. Bring a paddle - there are canoes awaiting you at the end.

Not my favorite trail. Nothing to see but fields. Fortunately we walked it on a lovely day!

Trail was fairly easy, partially shaded with pleasant views of the plantation and river. Check out the park service area with the hogs you can pet. We came at cotton picking time and rangers gave a great demonstration. Also the corn kernel stripping machine was a big hit. Worth a visit.

It was a beautiful day and we did all the trails in the park. All were easy. We really enjoyed the mansion tour, the gift shop, the saw mill and the farming exhibits.

A nice trail with a lot to see. It starts right near the mansion so be sure and take the guided tour.
