Great trail. Hiked two weeks ago with 4 inches of snow on the ground. Will hike again in the Spring.

A little crowded at Stony Man overlook, but a nice hike.

Excellent views!

Pretty crowded. Very rocky. With so many leaves on the ground, it made the rocky trail a little treacherous. Very glad we had on hiking boots, but wish we had hiking poles. Views make it worth it!

We went to both Little Stony Man and Stony Man Summit and came back the same way. Nice hike with great views.

Loved this trail!! Took the whole family (7 year old and 20 month old on a back backpack) and it was great! Stunning views! Just be sure to have proper lights with you if you stay to watch the sunset because the other side of the mountain gets super dark!

Nice and easy hike, couple of slightly steep spots, but a great hike for beginners. The views at the summit are more than worth the effort put into the hike, though bring a jacket as it can get pretty chilly up there!

This trail was a lot of fun, Mom was under the weather so I took the boys for a little adventure. This was a perfect trail for my young hikers we picked up a trail guide at the trail head and made it a learning experience following the trail markers and reading the descriptions along the way. The summit was slammed pack full of people so we noticed a small path off to the left just before you rech the summit that opened up to an alternative summit that we were able to enjoy by ourselves. I would definitely say this is a simple family hike.

Awesome vistas on a very well marked trail! Be sure to do the Stony Mountain Summit as well as the Passamaquoddy Trail... you might see some rock climbers along the way...
