Parking is easiest by Prospect Hill at the very end of Lee Drive or at the intersection of Lee Drive and Lansdowne Road.

Nice trail. There was a small hill to climb but nothing to steep. The trail was nice and clean. The only thing was that there was some residential housing close by about halfway thru, but other than that it was a nice walk. There is some well kept cannons and historical sights at the end as well

This was a pretty good trail. There was not very much elevation change. There were quite a few foot bridges throughout the trail. I started at the far end of Lee Drive and worked backwards. Then I walked along Lee Drive to get back. It was a pleasant day for the hike. After reading the information postings throughout the park, when I heard the whistle of the trains going by, it felt like I was taking a walk through history when this area was controlled by the Confederate Army for a supply line to and from Richmond. Pretty cool.
