Parked at head of trail which is on the Sherando side of Coals Run. Went to the top and did a loop around green pond. Great after work hike. One of my other gps apps said it was 8.45mi. Some good views from the rocks that are located just off the trail. Trail is easy to follow. Watch your bearings at the top where the jeep trail crosses, there a few different trails up there.
