A very easy trail, paved and level all the way. There is a three mile loop and a five mile loop to choose from. Mostly wooded or marsh. Bring insect repellent in season.

Very pretty woods. Single lane road with no bike lane. Had to pull off the side of the road several times to let vehicles pass . If you go, go early so there is less traffic.

I did this loop and the other one about a month ago. I saw two large deer. The forrest and the wetlands are great. A short side trek takes you out to the big river. (James River) The only thing I did not like was sharing the trail with so many bikes and cars.
