Nice easy loop trail that is actually just a mile long. The segment along the road has good signage to warn traffic of pedestrians and is 25mph with nice wide grassy shoulders. All in all you only have to walk along the road for about a 200 feet.
While you walk around the lake, there are a variety of flora and fauna to be seen. There is also a beaver dam and lodge for those with sharp eyes.
Various bridges over little stream, depending on time of year can see various fish/ bugs in the water.
Short, easy loop around the lake. Good bridges where needed. Start and finish at the picnic area. Trail follows road across dam. Not as enjoyable in summer when crowds descend on the lake area, but for much of the remainder of the year can be peaceful.
