Not much to see, not even off the Eastern side. Just a few glimpses through the trees. I’d skip next time.

Nice trail, muddy in areas, lots of shade but still muggy on a hot day. Trail goes by the Fox family cemetery

Perfect for a trail run- short, nice loop with mostly smooth path, only a few rocky parts. Beginning clockwise to the left gives you a mostly downhill run, although the end is on an uphill. I tried the route counter-clockwise; the uphill in that direction was too much for me to run, so I walked that part. Passed by three families- popular trail for little kids.

Short and easy hike in the northern district of SNP. Runs past old cemetery.

Nice wide trail with somewhat of an incline. Some muddy spots but overall well maintained. Well shaded.

Nice shorter trail.. Has up & down hills with mixed terrain. I found the Fox family cemetery interesting along with the stone piles & spring water trough. Found an old grinding stone that I would guess was used by the Fox family.

Short, downhill and uphill, the uphill will get you if you’re not in shape

Have to focus on where you’re walking as you can trip! Took us 30 minutes to do, pretty leisurely :).

first "real" hike for my almost 4 year old. make sure to grab a kids' map at the trailhead; my daughter enjoyed following along with the landmarks. we saw several chipmunks and squirrels and a box turtle, plus heard a lot of birds. incline is just enough to get some work in but not tiring

A great family trail. Not much by way of views but you see the family cemetery and the walk has just enough incline to be interesting but not so much to be daunting. Families with dogs make this loop all the time.

The walk through the woods was peaceful. The kids enjoyed looking for the various items that the visitor center provided. All in all, decent trail and nice start to Shenandoah.

A short and easy loop past some historical ruins, and a family's cemetery. Interpretive brochures are available at the Dickey Ridge Visitor Center, MP 4.6 on Skyline Drive. Blue blazes mark the trail. Restroom are available at the Visitor Center.

Decent trail for a quick family hike at the north end of the park. Very doable for 4-year-old legs. Forested the whole way, so it doesn't offer views of the valley, but the forest itself is scenic and pleasant.

Quick loop that will kick your glutes in gear with the incline that "doesn't stop!" Kidding! Not bad, just some uphill that keeps you working to close the loop!

Very pretty loop trail that passes through an old family graveyard.

Pretty easy hike. Did this after doing the Dickey Ridge/Snead Farm. Cool cemetery area.
