The trail itself is not bad but the smell from the water treatment plant is horrible. Not worth it.

was a little difficult to navigate certain parts but was good overall

This is not a hiking trail, rather a walking trail. Lots of pavement. Bicycles speeding by at times. Big disappointment . Good view of the James River, but that's about it.
