I’m almost 9 months pregnant, moderate hike, clearly marked. Did the Popular grove trail.

Might be the best for nature trails in the area. The nature trails intertwine and give you a variety of distance and difficulty options.

$5 to park. Pretty big parking area with bathrooms. The trails are EXTREMELY well marked. I’ve never seen so many blazes. This is hike is 4 loops that connect together and you can make it a little shorter or longer if you want. It had some running water which was nice for the pup to splash around in a bit. I went on a super nice day in March and the parking lot seemed really busy but we only saw 3 other groups the whole time we were on the trail.

Beautiful trail near peak fall colors in some areas. Other areas still mostly green... but largest hardwood trees have lost most of their leaves. Few people on this Friday. Trail mostly dry but a few areas have standing water ~2” ... not bad if wearing boots. Worth repeating.

what a great place. went on a Thursday and saw only 1 person. I saw 5+ deer including 3 fawns. several types of mushrooms including edible chanterelles. my only gripe is a few of the signs could be better. I went off a side trail and it did not loop back. it wasn't a big deal as I was able to see almost the entire trail system.
